According to early numbers from Fandango, Infinity Waris outselling the last seven MCU movies combined at this point in ticket sales.

That means that, two weeks away from its release, Infinity Warhas sold more tickets than Black Panther, Thor: Ragnarok, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Doctor Strange, Captain America: Civil War, and Ant-Man did at this point from their respective release dates. Again those are the seven most recentMarvel movies – not the top seven in terms of ticket sales at this time.

Avengers: Infinity Waris also Fandango's top April preseller, beating out Furious 7and on track to push past Black Pantherin presales (it is kind of a Black Panthersequel, so there's that).

"Infinity Warhas built up such unprecedented anticipation that it’s pacing to break records, the likes of which we have never seen before for a superhero movie,” Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis said in a press release. “Moviegoers are rushing to guarantee their seats in advance for what is sure to be one of the most talked-about movies of the decade.”
